Help with recipe - Cherry Delight Dessert

The size of the recipe would be just right but I have a problem with pie filling. I am able to get 113gr. containers of real fruit with real juice normally used for school lunches sent from home. DH and I usually share one of these with a similar sized custard. I make mini trifles even adding a bit of liqueur. All this placed on small flan sponges or a split homemade scone. So my question. I would like to make the Delight Dessert using one of the fruit containers but need to know how to thicken it to be pie filling consistency. Does this make any sense? If so, please help.

Thank you

The Cherry Delight Dessert recipe was yours for either one or two persons. If the liquid comes to a cup than I could probably use 1 tablespoon of tapioca. If I let them stand for five minutes. Cook and stir over medium heat until it comes to a full boil. Let cool and refrigerate. I could then spoon the fruit over the top of the dessert. I’ll try it and let you know. Thanks, great brain storming with you.
