Herb Dumplings

1-1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp marjoram
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
1 egg, lightly beaten
2/3 cup milk

Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, thyme, marjoram and parsley. Combine egg and milk and stir into the flour mixture until flour is moistened.

Drop by tablespoons atop bubbling stew or boiling stock; cover. Steam for 10 minutes. Uncover and cook for 10 minutes longer.
