Hello. My name is Vickie. I haven’t been here for a while because we’ve been having computer problems ( it has a mind of it’s own-shuts off when it wants to-grrrrrrrr!). I would like to know if someone can tell me what parsnips actually taste like? I’ve never tried them but I recently found a couple of recipes that sound like they might be good. My daughter & I would like to try them but we are kind of chicken!!! LOL

Maybe the closest thing would be turnips with a kick.
They are good and can be used in many ways. I like them mashed like mashed potatoes.
