Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix

Does anyone else have this recipe? the amount of parsley looks really high.
would like to know the correct amount of parsley to use.

Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix

15 Saltines
2 Cups Dry Minced Parsley Flakes
½ Cup Dry Minced Onion
2 Tbsp Dry Dill Weed
¼ Cup Onion Salt
¼ Cup Garlic Salt
¼ Cup Onion Powder
¼ Cup Garlic Powder

Put Crackers Through Blender On High Speed Until Powdered.

Add Parsley, Minced Onions, & Dill Weed. Blend Again Until
Powdered.

Dump Into Bowl. Stir In Onion Salt, Garlic Salt, Onion
Powder, & Garlic Powder.

Put Into Container With Tight-fitting Lid.

Store Dry Mix At Room Temperature For 1 Year.

Makes 42 – 1 Tablespoon Servings.

To Make Salad Dressing Combine 1 Tablespoon Mix With 1 Cup Mayonnaise & 1 Cup Buttermilk.

Makes 1 Pint.

:slight_smile: Hi! Thanks for this Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix. I love Ranch Dressing, but I used to buy the mix in a foil pack in the International Section or imported section of big supermarkets, and combine it with a cup of sour cream. Lately, I cannot find these foil packs anymore. Last 4 months ago, I had to buy a big, big bottle of Lady’s Choice Ranch Dressing, (actually a restaurant pack), and luckily it’s almost gone now. So this is the best time for me to try this recipe.

Is there a substitute for Buttermilk? I don’t usually see this in our local supermarkets. Or can we make this from regular fresh milk? Thanks!
