Last week I made a roast beef in the crockpot (and plenty of gravy) which of course was much too big for us. After dinner I refrigerated it; sliced it the next day and froze in ziplock bags with gravy for future sandwiches or meals.
I worked outside most of the day and didn’t know what to do for dinner - so it’s now on low in the skillet and it will slowly thaw and heat through for tonights dinner! Fresh kaiser rolls will make great hot beef sandwiches served with green salad and dill pickle spears!
Dessert is fresh fruit salad - canteloupe, seedless grapes, banana slices, kiwi and orange sections.
