How do you make opaque, ice cream flavored lollipops?

Hello! I’m new to the forums. I’m looking forward to finding out all kinds of cooking secrets!

I’ve been searching around the net and the answer to this question isn’t immediately easy to find. I want to make large lollipops/suckers that are opaque and light blue. I want to flavor it something creamy and reminiscent of ice cream, because I bought a lollipop mold shaped like a basic ice cream bar on a stick. Can anyone help me find a good method for this?

I texted ChaCha earlier to see what they had to say, and they mentioned using sorbet or a lighter textured ice cream. This sounds like a great idea…I think I’ll melt it gently using a double boiler and mix it in gradually with the candy mixture :slight_smile: Any other ideas?
