3 cups freshly brewed strong coffee
½ cup sugar
½ cup Half-and-Half cream, or more
Ground cinnamon (optional)
Whipped cream (optional)
Combine sugar and hot coffee; stir until dissolved. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze. (May be prepared in advance and stored in plastic bags in the freezer.) In a blender, combine frozen coffee cubes and cream. Mix until thoroughly blended. Serve garnished with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serves 2.
Mocha Alternative: In addition to the sugar, add unsweetened cocoa powder (to taste) to the coffee. Stir until dissolved and then freeze.
