I just thought I would let everyone know who I am. I don’t know how often I will post, but I would like to get involved.
As my ID indicates, I am a grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren( of course I’m bragging) I have a five-year-old grandson Robert, we call him R.J. and a 10-month-old granddaughter, Carmella. They keep me young, of course I’m not all that old either.
I love to bake and cook, as I’m sure all the members do, or they wouldn’t belong to this site. Trying something new is the best. I love watching all the cooking shows too. Emril and Paula Dean are my fav.
Oh, besides the two grandchildren, I have two daughters. Cassandra and Bobbi Lee and my husband Bob.
I guess that is all for now. I hope to meet alot of members through this site. When I get a chance I love to meet new people.
I just found this website. I’m grandma to 3 boys & 1 girl, gr grandma to 1 girl just born in August. We have 5 children, I took home ec in school but didn’t actually use this knowledge until our children were born. At first I was a lousy cook. I always encouraged our children to learn to cook & they are very good at it.
We are in the Model T Ford Club & enjoy the tours & dressing in vintage costume for events.
Welcome! I too am a grandma-OMA. Jacey is 4 and Jaclyn is 2 and I am a young too, 45, our daughter will be 28 in a few weeks. She doesn’t get to spend much time on the 'puter so I send her copies of some of these recipes, she and the family love them.
I am from Romania and I need your help.
I hope you or someone else can give me the pancake’s recipe.
I know you can buy pancake’s flour from supermarket and all you have to do is to add some water.
But, unfortunatelly, in Romania we don’t have this product.
I think before the pancakes was prepared at home, and maybe someone know the recipe.
Please, please, help me.

My name is Karen. I think this is a great idea and although I have not been on here that long I have found lots of great receipes. I do think though that meeting people and making new friendships is the best thing about a site like this. We all enjoy cooking and baking. Hope to see more of you on here.
OOPS! Almost forgot We have 1 son and a set of identical twin daughters they have blessed us with 8 beautiful grandchildren. 2 of them are identical twins. We are truly blessed.
