Irish soda bread question.

I left out the baking soda will it still be ok?

The baking soda is the leavening agent and baking soda acts immediately versus yeast which takes longer. It may be denser - heavier - but should still be edible.

and if it is denser/heavier - it will still make good toast for dunkin’

Without the baking soda it is not Irish Soda Bread. I think it will be very heavy. I would make a new bread.

so true - but it could turn out to be a good dunker with hot tea -
