ISO Cheese Filled Breadsticks

Anyone able to accomplish this? I’ve tried it a few times with no success (cheese blowing out one end during baking). When I was in school we had something called “Bosco Sticks” and they were awesome, allbeit REALLY fattening. I’m hoping I can replicate them at home with lower calories.

I think my biggest issue was using a yeast roll recipe for the dough… I think I need a tougher bread…

Alright, I tried it this weekend using an Egg Bread recipe and… it worked! The yeast roll recipe I was using wasn’t strong enough to handle the cheese, I think. I did use more dough than I was using with the yeast roll recipe also… so that did help.
