Italian-Style Chicken Strips
1 pound [454 g] chicken strips 1 sweet green pepper, membranes removed and seeded, into strips 1 onion, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 [19-ounce / 540-mL] can tomato sauce 12 ounces [340 g] fresh plain fettucine pasta noodles Stir-fry chicken strips into a large non-stick frypan over medium heat for approximately 7 minutes, until tender. Transfer chicken strips into a plate. Stir-fry together sweet green pepper strips, chopped onion and minced garlic into the same frypan to brown the onion until golden. Mix in tomato sauce, then reserved chicken strips. Reheat stirring from time to time for a few minutes. Meanwhile, boil fettucine pasta noodles into salted boiling water until 'al dente'; drain well. Serve chicken strips, over fettucine noodles.
