Jackson Squares
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup light Karo syrup
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups Rice Krispies
Stir sugars and Karo together in sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Remove from
heat and stir in peanut butter. Mix well. Add vanilla and cereal.
Press in a 13x9 inch buttered pan. Top with an additional 1 cup peanut
butter.
Spread with caramel mixture.(I melt 1/2 pkg. caramel squares with 1 tsp.
milk.)
Top with melted chocolate.(I us 1 pkg. milk chocolate chips melted with 1
tsp. shortening).
Cool and cut into squares.
I cut them small because they are super rich. May be easier to refrigerate
