I am looking for Johnny Carinos lasagna recipe. I have come close, but I lost the recipe I wrote out. I am having a dinner party tomorrow and Lasagna is what I am making. I one I made had pepperoni, sweet sausage, ground beef and bacon in it. I also threw in some red wine and I used sliced provolone, mozzerella and 5 cheese italian cheese along with the parmesan reggiano and I used a mixture of riccotta and cottage cheese. Oh ya, I also put a package of frozen spinach that I thawed and dried. Thanks, I think I just figured out my recipe. I also used a bunch of different italian spices and I think I even put some tabasco in the sauce. For the sauce I used canned diced tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce and wine along with garlic cloves, onions and the spices. I cooked the sauce for a couple of hours before assembling the lasagna. I was afraid I would have enough sauce, so I put a jar of 4 cheese spaggetti sauce in it at the end. This time I may just make more sauce and forget the spagetti sauce.
