Lawry’s Taco Seasoning Copycat
Makes about 2 Tbsp of seasoning mix.
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Mix ingredients and store in an airtight container.
To use: Brown 1 pound ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
Add 2 tablespoons seasoning mix and 2/3 cup water.
Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Makes filling for 8 to 10 tacos.
