Lemon Bonbon cookies
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. lemon cake mix
1 can lemon frosting
Beat eggs, shortening, butter, vanilla and about 1/2 of the cake mix until smooth. If dough is too dry, add 1-1/2 tsp water. Shape dough into 1-1/4 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
Frost cooled cookies. Top each frosted cookie with a pecan half.
