Lemon Garlic Chicken


2 - 2 1/2 lbs. meaty chicken pieces (breasts, thighs, drumsticks)
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 cloves garlice
2 t. lemon juice
Salt and pepper

Rinse chicken and pat dry.

Combine mayo, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Sliver garlic.

Lift skin from chicken and tuck garlic slivers under skin. Fold skin back over and brush with mayo mixture.

Place in glass baking dish and bake in preheated 450* F. oven for 45 minutes. Chicken tops should look a little brown. Reduce oven heat to 375* F. and check for doneness after 15 minutes.
