This is a very simple and good recipe!
Combine 1 block of cream cheese (8 oz.) with 1/4 c. sugar and 1 T. lemon juice (I prefer fresh squeezed).
Unroll 2 tubes of refrigerated crescent rolls and separate into triangles.
Spread each triangle with cream cheese mixture and roll crescent style.
Bake (ungreased cookie sheet) for 20 minutes at 350* F.
If you want, you can sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar while warm and again before serving or drizzle with white glaze when cool.
For a nice variation - use Fresh squeezed orange juice in place of lemon juice.
NOTE: Lemon or orange flavored glaze is good too! Just combine sifted confectioner’s sugar with juice to desired consistency.
