looking for Red Lobster's Ceddar Biscuit Recipe

Does anyone have the recpie for these amazing cheddar biscuits? They never give you enough at the restaurant and I want to make them at home.

Thanks!

Here are two versions of the biscuits. My advice is to combine them, depending on how much cheddar and butter you like with yours. Enjoy!

Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Ease of Cooking: Beginner

This recipe was sent in by Janelle.

Ingredients:
2 C. Bisquick
1/2 C. cold water
3/4 C. grated, sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 C. butter
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix together baking mix, cold water, and grated cheese. Cut biscuits with a cutter, and place onto a baking dish. Melt butter and seasonings together. Brush with the butter and spices and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. However, you cannot make the EXACT biscuits, because they have a special butter/garlic sauce that is not available to the general public. See how they are!!

Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits II

The biscuits are fab. The Biquick recipe is good. :o But if you have extra money when you go out to eat, just buy some more garlic cheese biscuits.

You are so right. These are amazing biscuits.
I asked for the recipe at Red Lobster years ago and they said
they use Bisquick. Surprise…Bisquick has the recipe
on their box. I make them all the time.
Also, the Red Lobster by me…in Oregon, gives us free
biscuits when we need refills…to take home.
(I do not use sharp cheddar, I use mild)

I received the following helpful message from Peggy Sanders regarding my request for Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits and want to reply to it. Since I’m brand new at participating in this forum, I may not do it right. I will first post Peggy’s message, then comment on it.

And the Bisquick box recipe tastes exactly the same as the biscuits you get at Red Lobster? I ask because I read somewhere else that Red Lobster has a secret garlic/cheese sauce they use. Maybe I’ll ask them next time I visit Red Lobster!
Thanks for your helpful reply. PassionCook

Anamaria: I notice you asked about this in 2005. Five years later I’m asking about Cheddar Bay Biscuits also. Did you ever get the recipe? One reply I noticed said to try the recipe on the Bisquick box. Hope that helps. PassionCook

If you scroll back you will find the recipe.

I use the bisquick recipe with no complaints from anyone I have ever served them to! I think they taste just as good as Red Lobsters.
