Does anyone have the recipe for Loretts’a pralines from New Orleans? I have not gotten that taste out of my mouth. She had original, chocolate and rum-flavored pralines. MMmmmm is all I can say but I can’t duplicate the darn things. Anyone else successful? Thanks in advance, y’all.:?:
I’m sorry to say that i don’t recall trying Lorett’s pralines, and so i really couldn’t help with figuring out the recipe. Every time i’ve gone to the french quarter my focus has been on getting to southern candymakers for some of their pralines. I’m not sure if you’ve tried them or if you’d think that Lorett’s pralines could be better, but i’ve tried out dozens of praline recipes attempting to get something close to southern candymakers, but no luck so far.
