Low-Carb Cheeseburgers with Mushrooms and Onions
An absolutely delicious burger!
Yields: 4 Servings
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 pound Ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
1 clove Garlic minced
3 tablespoons Fresh parsley minced
1 cup Mushrooms sliced
1 cup Onion chopped
4 ounces Cheddar cheese sliced - 4 slices
2 cups Lettuce shredded
Heat large saute pan; add oil; heat.
In medium bowl, combine ground chuck, salt, pepper, garlic, and parsley.
Form into 4 patties.
Place patties in hot skillet and fry until done; remove from pan and keep warm.
In same pan, saute onions and mushrooms.
Return patties to pan, top each with Cheddar cheese, cover and melt cheese.
Serve each burger on bed of 1/4 cup shredded lettuce; divide mushroom/onion mixture and top each burger with portion.
