Macaroni and Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
◦2 cups elbow pasta, cooked until almost al dente
◦8 ounces Cheddar, shredded
◦8 ounces Colby cheese, shredded
◦8 ounces Monterey jack cheese, shredded
◦2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
◦1/2 teaspoons salt
◦1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
◦1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
◦4 tablespoons sour cream
◦1 large egg, beaten
◦1 cup heavy cream
◦1 cup half-and-half
◦1/2 teaspoon onion powder
◦1 cup bread crumbs
◦2 tablespoon butter
Instructions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2.In a large bowl, toss together the pasta with the cheese and pour into a baking dish.
3.In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and dry mustard. Then add the sour cream, egg, heavy cream, half-and-half mix and pour over the pasta.
4.Melt butter and mix with bread crumbs.
5.Sprinkle bread crumbs over the macaroni and bake until bubbly, 30 to 40 minutes.
6.Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
