Madeira Sauce

Madeira Sauce

Ingredients:

3/4 cup Madeira wine
1/2 cup canned beef broth
1 package mushrooms, sliced
4 tablespoons butter
pepper and salt to taste
2 teaspoons all-purpose flour

Melt butter in saucepan. Add mushrooms and saute’ about 5 to 8 minutes. Add the wine and broth. Simmer till mushrooms are soft. Add flour and salt/pepper mixture and stir till thickened. Simmer about 10 minutes. Use on steaks or burgers or whatever you wish!!! This is so yummy!!!
