MAKE AHEAD DAFFODIL DESSERT
1 yellow cake mix
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. milk
1 pkg. (3 oz.) vanilla instant pudding mix
1 1/2 c. milk
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pienapple, drained
5 bananas. sliced
1 tub (8 oz.) cool whip, thawed
1 c. finely chopped pecans
Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions using a 13 X 9 X 2-inch pan. Cool.
Combine cream cheese and 1/2 c. milk; beat until smooth.
Combine pudding mix and 1 1/2 c. milk; beat until thickened.
Fold pudding mixture into cream cheese mixture; spread over cake.
Chill for 30 minutes or longer. MAKE AHEAD TO THIS POINT.
Layer pineapple, bananas, whipped topping and pecans over cake. Chill until serving time. Store remaining desert, covered, in refrigerator.
