This was handed down by my great great grandmother. It is like a egg custard pie with pumpkin, silky.
1 large can pumpkin (not the pie filling)
1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 t salt
1 T flour
8 eggs, beaten until fluffy
3 c whole milk
cinnamon
2 deep dish pie shells
Mix sugar, salt and flour. Add eggs and beat. Add pumpkin and stir in milk. Spoon into shells. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350* for 30-45 minutes, or until just set in middle. (slightly jiggly) If any of the mixture is left over, bake in a greased small casserole dish.
