Marinade for Chicken or Pork
8 oz. Italian dressing
Â½ cup soy sauce
Â½ grapefruit or orange juice
2 teaspoons rosemary
1 teaspoon thyme
1/3 cup Splenda or sugar (optional)
Mix together. Place meat or poultry into zipper food bag and pour marinade into bag. Zip bag and marinate overnight.
This marinade is very versatile. Simmer and reduce the marinade for 15- 20 minutes then baste on whole roasting chicken or chicken pieces. Also great for pork roast, loin, and chops. Cooking on the grill adds a whole new dimension of flavor.
