Meatball Stroganoff by Nebulized

I made Nebulized’s recipe for Meatball Stroganoff and it was great. Nice flavor and texture. A big hit at my house! (The only thing I did differently was to leave out the salt, as I find recipes using canned soup salty enough for my taste.)

Thanks, nebulized, for all the great recipes! Any time I see one posted by you, it’s often the kind of food I like to cook and eat.

Meatball Stroganoff

1-lb. ground beef
1/2 C. finely chopped onions
1 egg
1/2 C. bread crumbs

Mix together well. Form into meatballs, and brown them in skillet over medium-high heat. When browned, place in greased baking dish.

Combine in mixing bowl:

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/3 C. water
1/2 C. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper

Pour over meatballs.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour

Serve over cooked noodles.

This is nebulized’s recipe of course! It is somewhere on page 31 or 32 of the Recipe Exchange. I came across it looking for something so I put it here. But this is definitely nebulized’s. I am glad it wasn’t lost with the changeover!

Recipe is pretty close to pork chops with mushroom gravy. I bet adding a little white wine would give it great taste!
