This is my first post. I tried to make salsa verde this week. I tweaked the recipe to my taste. Maybe someone else will enjoy it too.
Mild Tomatillo Salsa Verde
1 lb. tomatillos, peeled, washed and halved
2 haas avocados, peeled, seeded and quartered
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, peeled
¼ cup chopped green onions
1 bunch of cilantro, about 1 cup
2 Tbsp lime juice
1 tsp vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
Combine to desired texture: Pulse for chunky or blend for smooth.
