Milk Dud Peanut Surprise Cookies
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. peanut butter(crunchy or smooth)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 t. baking powder
3/4 t. baking soda
1/4 r. salt
3/4 c. Milk Duds (3.4oz).
Granulated Sugar
Beat first 4 ingredients until fluffy; add egg. Add dry ingredients & mix well. Chill dough. Roll into 1" balls. Press Milk Dud into center, roll dough around it. Roll each ball in granulated sugar & place on ungreased sheet 2" apart.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool 1-2 minutes before removing from sheet.
