4 1/2 cups sugar
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons butter
1 (15 oz) can evaporated milk
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate bits
12 oz German sweet chocolate (sweet baking chocolate)
1 pint marshmallow cream
2 cups nut meats
Combine sugar, salt, butter and evaporated milk in a sauce pan and boil for six minutes.
Place chocolate bits, German chocolate, marshmallow cream and nut meats in a large bowl.
Pour boiling syrup over ingredients in bowl; beat until chocolate is all melted and pour into a square cake pan. Let stand a few hours before cutting. Store in a tin box.
