Mint Butter Wafers - Crockpot Mints

Easy butter mints made in the crockpot.

* 2 T. butter
* 1/4 C. milk
* 1 pkg. white frosting mix (dry)
* 3 drops peppermint flavoring

Melt butter and milk together in a covered slow cooker on HIGH setting. Stir in frosting mix and cook 1 to 2 minutes longer. Add flavoring. Turn to low and drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.

Makes 5 dozen.

This sounds delicious–how long in the Crock Pot?

this is not an all day recipe for sure - heat the milk and butter slowly (which the pot does) - depending on the model and age of the heating element will determine when it is hot
