Mock Chocolate Mousse

1 (3 ¼ ounce box) chocolate fudge pudding (NOT INSTANT)

1 2/3 cups milk

1 (8 ounce) carton Cool Whip

1 (1 ounce) bottle rum or brandy flavoring

Put both pudding powder and milk in blender. On high speed process for 1 minute. Pour into a 1 ½ quart saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, over medium high heat, until thickened and smooth.

As soon as it comes to a boil, remove at once from heat. Cover pan and chill pudding 1 hour or until completely cold.

Fold in Cool Whip and flavoring.

Divide between 4 wine glasses. Garnish with a dollop of Cool Whip, chopped nuts and a maraschino cherry.
