Mom's Famous Crab Cakes

1 lb backfin (lump) crabmeat
6 saltine crackers
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 s pepper
1 Tbsp mayo
1 egg, beaten
3/4 tsp prepared mustard
milk

Crumble crackers into a bowl; mix in crabmeat. Add remaining ingredients and moisten with a small amount of milk. Shape into patties and pan fry (or grill) over medium heat until golden brown. Serve with Worcestershire sauce and crackers.

Note: The less you handle the crabmeat, the better. I usually mix everything together (but the crab and cracker mixture) adding it last. These come out really well on a grill if you lightly spray or oil it first. Can use any kind of crabmeat you like.
