Mom's Goulash/My Short-cut

1 16oz. bag Meat Crumbles
1 12oz. bag Sausage Crumbles
2 Cans Stewed Tomatoes (soup size cans)
3 Cans Tomato Sauce (soup size cans)
1-2 cans Filtered Water
1 lb. Pasta twists (pre-cook pasta separately, with salt and dried onion bits)
2 crushed Garlic Cloves
2 med. Bell Peppers (de-seed & cut away the bitter white skin)I use the Yellow and Red Peppers…sometimes the Orange one too. Slice into medium slices.
1 can Sliced Black Olives (soup size can)
Himalayan Salt (or reg. table salt) to taste
Italian Seasoning
Pepper

After you cook the Pasta, pour it into strainer and rinse it with hot water. Put all other ingredients (except the meat & sausage) into dutch oven pan and heat to slow boil. After the sauce has been simmering for 30 minutes, add the meat and sausage. Return mixture to slow boil and simmer for an additional 15 minutes. Add the cooked Pasta and simmer for an additional 15 minuter. Now it’s ready to eat…yummy!!! If you like a thicker sauce you could add a small can of Tomato Paste. :smiley:
