Mushroom Salsa Chili
1 lb. grond beef 1 lb. sausage 1 can 16 oz. kidney beans rinsed and drained 1 16 oz. can chili beans 1 24 oz. jar chunky salsa 1 141/2 oz. can diced tomatoes 1 onion, chopped 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce 1 4 oz. can mushroompieces, drained 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 t. oregano 1/4 t. garlic powder 1/8 t. thyme 1/8 t. marjoram 1 t. chili powder
In a large pot cook beef and, sausage until done,drain. Transfer to a 5 qt. slow cooker add remaining ingredients and cook on low for 8 hrs.

Letting this cook on a cool fall day while I watch the football game and NASCAR.
