AJ’s Egg Nog
8 large eggs, separated
3/4 cup of sugar
1 cup bourbon
1/2 cup heavy cream
Beat egg yolks and sugar until light and cream colored. On low (not medium) speed gradually add bourbon.
In separate chilled bowl whip cream until stiff. Fold into egg yolk mixture. In clean bowl whip egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into egg mixture.
Sprinkle with frest nutmeg and serve.
This one won a national contest. I hope all will enjoy.
A REMINDER: pregnant women and children should not ingest raw eggs.
