My Grilled Bloomin' Taters

Shane’s Grilled Bloomin’ Taters

1 Baking potato per person
Chicken broth
Butter or margarine
Black pepper
Dried oregano
Dried basil
Garlic powder

You will need a disposable foil 3X5 loaf pan per potato.

Wash the potatoes and leave the skin on. Cut them Bloomin’ Onion style with 1/2” cuts, not quite cutting all the way through and place them in the loaf pans. Fill each loaf pan to the top with chicken broth. Smear about 2 teaspoons butter or margarine over each potato. Sprinkle each potato with black pepper, oregano, basil and garlic powder. Place loaf pans on grill and cook until the liquid evaporates, about an hour.

The potatoes will be slightly crunchy on top and will absorb some fantastic flavor of the meat you grill them with!
