Nan-e Ardi (Flour Cookies)
1 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. ground cardamom
1 egg white
1-2 T. sesame seeds
Beat the butter until creamy. Beat in the confectioners sugar
gradually. Stir in flour and cardamom, mixing until well blended.
Shape into round cookies. Brush the tops with egg white. Sprinkle
the tops with sesame seeds. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 325F
for about 20 minutes.
