Strawberry Punch Bowl Cake
This is delicious and I like to make it every spring when strawberries get ripe.
Make a yellow or white cake mix according to package directions. Let cool.
In a clear bowl, crumble part of the cake in the bottom of the dish.
Next add canned pineapple (with the juice), fresh strawberries, and ccol whip, then make a second layer of each.
when I saw your dessert recipe, it reminded me a lot of a recipe i make in the summer, it’s very much like your’s, but i use blueberries and strawberries, and when i’m doing the layering in a pretty glass bowl i like to put a layer of instant vanilla pudding over the yellow cake peices before i layer the fruit and cool whip on. i then repeat the layers, always ending with a nice layer of cool whip and a nice garnish of strawberries and blueberries around the edges. i never thought of pineapple, but i’ll certainley try it next time. thanks!
