Hi everyone I havent tried this , my sister inlaw oven broke and was looking for recipe that wasnt cooked in the oven and came across this and thought it looked interesting so if anyone tries it would love to hear how it turned out,
No-Bake Chocolate Cake With War Cake Icing
1 Serving
**CAKE**
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 3/4 cup water
8 slices sandwich bread; in bite size pieces
**WAR CAKE ICING**
4 tablespoons powdered milk
3 tablespoon flour
3 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 cpp water
Instructions
Cake
Place cooking oil, powdered milk, sugar and cocoa powder in large saucepan
and stir. Add water and place mixture over medium heat, stirring
constantly
until blended.
Gradually add bread pieces until mixture forms single piece. Spread
mixture
in one 8" x 5" oval dish and cool.
Spread War Cake Icing over the cooled cake and serve.
WAR CAKE ICING
Place powdered milk, flour, sugar, cocoa powder and water in saucepan.
Cook
over medium heat until ingredients form frosting-like consistency. Let
cool
before icing.
