Nugget Market Oatmeal Cookies
1 cup Brown sugar
1 cup Granulated sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoons Baking soda
1 3/4 teaspoons Cinnamon
1 3/4 teaspoons Nutmeg
1 cup shortening
2/3 cup Margarine
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups Oatmeal
3/4 cup Raisins
Heat oven to 350°F.
Add the Brown sugar, Granulated sugar, Salt, Baking soda, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, shortening, Margarine and Vanilla into the mixing bowl.
Cream 3 minutes at medium speed. Scrape down the bowl.
Add the eggs and milk.
Mix until the sugar is dissolved. Scrape down the bowl…
Add the flour to the sugar and eggs mixture. Mix until well combined. Scrape down the bowl.
Mix in the Oatmeal. Mix until well combined. Scrape down the bowl.
Mix in the Raisins. Mix until well combined.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.

6 Lbs. Margarine
4 Oz. Vanilla
Cream 3 minutes in 3rd speed. Scrape down the bowl.
4 Lbs. Whole eggs
3 Lbs. Water
Add in 2 stages. Scrape down the bowl. Make sure that the sugar is dissolved
12 Lbs. Pastry flour
4 Lbs. Bread flour
12 Lbs. Oatmeal
Add in stages. Scrape down the bowl. Mix in the 2nd speed
4 Lbs. Raisins (optional)
