Simple, but addictive party favorite.
Ingredients:
1 pound Walnuts or Pecans
1 Egg
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Sugar
Dash of salt
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine dry ingredients. Stir in egg; mixing thoroughly. Add walnuts (or pecans) and coat thoroughly with mixture.
Spread nuts in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes (rotating baking sheet once half way through baking).
Remove baking sheet from oven and stir nuts around gently with a wooden spoon. Return to oven and bake an additional 2 minutes.
Remove baking sheet from oven. Let nuts cool for 30 minutes, then remove from baking sheet and store in a air-tight container.
