Old Tyme Weiners

Remember the old tyme, fat, short Weiners we used to be able to get?

They were made from just ground beef and pork or one or the other, and had chunks of the coursely ground meat and some of the spices used were also course ground. Once ground, not made into a paste or Emulsion as they call it today, they were stuffed into nateral casing, the hogs well cleaned intestins, and made into short, maybe four inch, lenght
and were maybe as big around as the paper cap from a quart of milk. When you bit into them, they made a cracking sound and you actualy had to chew the chunks of meat before swallowing a bit of the Weiner.
Some were made spicy and were called Redhots and were mostly found at Baseball Stadiums and served with Yellow Mustard or a good Deuseldorf (sp?) Brown Mustard and Liberty Cabbage ( the name given Saurekraut during WWII)

Is there a company today that makes them for sale a the Big Chain markets or that has a Website where they can be ordered and shipped?
