2 packages (10 oz. each) Brussesl sprouts
1 onion
2 T butter or margarine
1 t. salt
1/4 t. ground mace

Trim any discolored leaves from the Brussels sprouts. Cut a cross in the bottom of each stem. Cut the onion in half. Cut each half into thin slices. In skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and cook until tender (about 10 minutes). Add the Brussesl sprouts, salt and mace. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender (about 20 minutes). Serve immediately.
