Orange Cream Cake

1 pkg. lemon cake mix 1 envelope kool-aid 3 eggs 1 c. water 1/3 c. vegetable oil 2 { 3 oz.} pkg. orange jello 1 c. boiling water 1 c. cold water 1 t. vanilla 1 { 3.4 oz.} instant vanilla pudding mix 8 oz. carton cool whip
In a bowl combine cake mix , kool-aid mix , eggs, water and oil. Pour into a 13x 9 pan and bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Using a meat fork poke holes in cake. Let cool 30 minutes. Dissolve 1 pkg. jello in boiling water. Stir in cold water then pour over cake. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hrs. Combine pudding mix, vanilla milk and remaining jello on low for 2 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fold in whipped topping. Frost cake. Refrigerate. You can garnish with mandarin oranges. Another variation of this cake is to use a white cake and strawberry jello and kool-aid.
