1 lb. Broccoli mix or cole slaw
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 pkgs. Chicken flavored Ramen noodles (toss the flavor pkg)
1-2 Tblsp. Butter
1 C almonds slivered or cashews or pecans
½ C. sesame seeds
1 C. sunflower nuts
Dressing:
½ C. sugar
1/3 C. apple cider vinegar
2 Tblsp. Soy sauce
¼ C. vegetable Oil
Combine slaw and onions – set aside. Brown noodles in butter in saucepan. Add nuts and lightly toast. Add sesame seeds when the rest of the mixture is almost toasted. Remove from heat and cool. Make dressing and refrigerate. Toss cooled noodle mixture and broccoli mixture. Pour dressing over salad. Toss.
Optional – sliced grilled chicken breast
Serve – on a bed of lettuce
