Paddy's Potato Casserole

2 lbs frozen hash browns
1/2 cup melted margarine
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups crushed cornflakes
1/4 cup melted margarine

Preheat oven to 350. Slightly thaw potatoes and combine with melted margarine. Season with salt and pepper. Add onion, soup, sour cream and cheese. Blens ingredients thoroughly and pour into a greased 3 qt casserole. Mix cornflakes with melted margarine. Sprinkle over potato mixture and bake 45 minutes.

Note: Unbakes casserole may be covered and refrigerated overnight. Add 10 minutes to baking time.
