-Homemade Pancakes
Ingredients
1 egg
1 c All-Purpose Flour
3/4 c milk
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
In a medium sized bowl, mix all the above ingredients together using a hand or stand mixer. Be sure to beat until smooth, eliminating any lumps. Spoon batter onto a hot griddle. Flip pancakes when edges appear cooked and the batter bubbles on top. Once flipped, top with butter or margarine and serve immediately. Add syrup, fruit or any other toppings of your liking and enjoy!

In France you would call them crepes? So you could also search for crepes.

Crepes and pancakes are not really the same thing. Pancakes are thicker and fluffier than crepes.

A pancake is a thin, flat, round cake prepared from a batter, and cooked on a hot griddle or frying pan. Most pancakes are quick breads; some use a yeast-raised or fermented batter. Most pancakes are cooked one side on a griddle and flipped partway through to cook the other side. Depending on the region, pancakes may be served at any time, with a variety of toppings or fillings including jam, chocolate chips, fruit, syrup or meat.Homemade Pancakes
