With all this heat, I’m glad I have my George Forman to depend on for many things!
Today it was panini and grilled potato slices.
“marinated” beefsteak tomato slices with onion slices (olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic and basil) - let that “sog up” on the counter for at least 30 minutes - making extra “marinade” to be used as the panini dressing; layer ham, genoa salami, provolone, mozzarella, marinated tomato and onion slices, pepperoncini, cracked black pepper and drizzled with “marinade” on baguette - cooked in George
scrubbed Yukon Golds; sliced 1/4-inch thick, tossed with olive oil, salt, pepper and parsley - grilled until done
and plenty of iced green tea!
