Hi I’m new to the tread saw this section and since I am have already had three request from friends and family to make this recipe for them for the Holidays wanted to share

Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 stick of Butter

1 cup Brown Sugar

3 Eggs

1 teaspon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt

5 cups of flour

3/4 cup corn syrup

7 tablespoons Bourbon

9" pie shell

1 cup pecan halfs

Directions

Combine ingredients (except pecan halfs) and pour into pie shell. Place pecan halfs in a circular pattern on top of pie.

Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes.

I think there must be a typo in your recipe. How much flour is in the filling?

5 cups of flour sounds more like bread than pie filling.

That is what I get for doing things in a rush – just saw the 5 and passed over it (copy and paste will get you every time)

It should have been 5 tablespoons molasses not 5 cups of flour
