PILLOW-SOFT DINNER ROLLS

4 ½ t. dry yeast
½ c. warm water (110 - 115* F.)
2 c. warm milk (110 - 115* F.)
6 T. Crisco
2 eggs
¼ c. sugar
1 ½ t. salt
7 - 7 ½ c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water; add milk, Crisco, eggs, sugar, salt and 3 c. flour; beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth and elastic (dough will be sticky). Let rise 1 hour. Punch down. Divide into 24 pieces shaping each into a roll; place 2-inches apart on greased sheets. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350* F. for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 2 dozen.
